Privacy Notice
Last reviewed: 6 September 2026. This notice explains how TEKTC GROUP LTD uses personal data when providing RescueLink.
Who is responsible for your data
TEKTC GROUP LTD is the controller of personal data processed through RescueLink. Our registered office is TEKTC GROUP LTD, 71–75 Shelton Street, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email privacy@getrescuelink.com.
Data we use
Depending on how you use RescueLink, this includes account and contact details, vehicle details, service requests, live and historical location during a rescue, provider KYC and vehicle evidence, service messages, dispute evidence, support records, device/app diagnostics and payment transaction records. Card details are handled by Stripe; RescueLink does not store full card numbers.
Why we use it
We use data to provide and secure roadside assistance, dispatch and track jobs, process payments and invoices, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and improve the service. The legal basis is normally performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, or consent where required.
Who receives data
We share only what is necessary with the provider assigned to a job, Stripe, Convex, Google Maps, Resend, Twilio, Sentry and other processors used to operate RescueLink. We may disclose data where law requires it.
Retention and your rights
We keep data only for as long as needed for the service, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal/tax obligations. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to relevant processing. To exercise these rights email privacy@getrescuelink.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Location and permissions
Location is used to locate a breakdown, match an operator and, when you explicitly enable a safety check-in, share location with selected trusted contacts. You can change permissions in device settings, although this can limit rescue and safety features.
